This life quote is by far one of my favourites since I’ve been in remission from acute Leukaemia because it really sums up the journey I’ve been on. During the brutal treatment which meant 6 months as a hospital in patient my life certainly felt bleak and grey with little hope of any reprieve. Yet slowly, once I started to recover, bit by bit I have seen a beautiful light, life at its best and truly am proud of myself for fighting so hard to live. I do feel that within me there lay an invincible summer and I will always be grateful for the winter that showed me my strength…
